Claude

Available

Connect Botvee to Claude and manage your workspace from a normal conversation. Claude can review live workspace data and perform approved Botvee actions from Claude web or Claude Desktop.

Before you start

  • A Botvee account with access to the workspace you want to manage
  • A Claude plan and workspace where custom connectors are available
  • For a Team or Enterprise workspace, an owner may need to add Botvee as an organization connector before members can connect it

Botvee connection URL

Copy this exact secure URL when Claude asks for the custom connector address:

How to connect Claude

  1. 1

    Open Claude connectors

Sign in at claude.ai and open Customize, then Connectors. If your account has the new unified layout, open Plugins and filter for connectors

  2. 2

    Choose the correct connector area

On Pro or Max, add a personal connector. On Team or Enterprise, an owner first adds Botvee under Organization settings, Connectors

  3. 3

    Add Botvee

Choose Add custom connector, enter Botvee as the name, and paste the Botvee connection URL shown above

  4. 4

    Configure authentication

Choose Sign in now and Use Claude's published identity. If published identity is unavailable, choose Register automatically

  5. 5

    Connect your account

Sign in to Botvee on the secure approval page, check the account and permissions, then click Allow access

  6. 6

    Enable it in chat

Start a new conversation, open Search and tools, and enable Botvee

Note

If Claude was connected before these tools were added, remove or disconnect the old connection and connect it again once.

Support ticketsList, create, claim, change status or priority, save internal notes, and assign tickets to workspace members

Confirmation and permissions

  • Confirm writes — Claude should summarize the exact proposed change and wait for approval
  • Current access only — Botvee checks the connected user's current role, workspace, AI agent assignments, channels, and sections on every request
  • Sensitive actions stay restricted — Assigning tickets to another user requires owner or administrator access
  • Draft means draft — Creating an email draft does not send it, and saving ticket response text does not email the customer
  • Passwords stay private — Claude never receives or stores your Botvee password
  • Audit trail — Every tool call is written to the Botvee MCP audit log

Prompts to test

Start with account and read-only checks, then test a confirmed draft action.

Which Botvee account is connected?

Show my latest received emails. Do not create or send anything.

Prepare a reply draft for the newest email. Show me the draft and wait for my confirmation.

Disconnecting

Remove or disconnect Botvee from Claude to revoke its access. Reconnecting later requires Botvee sign-in and permission approval again.

Troubleshooting

  • Add custom connector is missing — Check the Claude plan and workspace policy, or ask the workspace owner to add Botvee under Organization connectors
  • Botvee is not available in a chat — Open Search and tools and enable the connector
  • A tool is missing — Disconnect and reconnect Botvee to refresh its permissions and tools
  • The wrong account is connected — Disconnect, sign out of Botvee in the browser, and reconnect with the correct account
  • Claude can see only one AI agent — The connected Botvee user is probably a limited agent account, so workspace isolation is working as intended
