Discord

Your AI agent answers in your Discord server when someone @mentions it. Use it for community support, so members get answers about your product without waiting for a moderator. Every conversation is saved in your Botvee Inbox.

Before you start

• A Discord server — You need the “Manage Server” permission on it
• An AI agent in Botvee

How to set it up

   Open the window

   Go to Dashboard → Integrations → Discord and click “Connect”

   Choose the agent

   Under “Which AI Agent answers in Discord?”, click “Choose” next to the agent

   Click “Add to Discord”

   Discord opens and asks which server. Pick it and approve

   Test it

   In a channel, type @ followed by the bot’s name and a question

What happens next

2. 2Agent answers in the same channel
3. 3Conversation saved in your Inbox

• The bot reads only messages that @mention it
• It replies in the same channel, as a reply to that message
• Each conversation is saved to your Inbox, where you can take it over

Good to know

• Use “Change agent” in the same window to switch agents
• Connecting again replaces the current server and agent
• Click “Disconnect” to stop replies. To remove the bot from the server itself, kick it in Discord
• AI replies use 10 credits each

Troubleshooting

• The bot does not answer — Make sure the message @mentions it
• “That Discord server is already connected to another Botvee account” — Disconnect it there first
• “Discord stopped accepting the bot — connect again” — Click “Add to Discord” again
• Your server is not in the list — You need the “Manage Server” permission on it
