Visitors

Visitors shows who is on your website, which pages they looked at, their device and where they came from. Use it to see what a customer was looking at before they asked a question, and to learn which pages lead to chats.

Before you start

• The chat widget on your website — Visitors are only recorded on pages where the widget is installed

How to use it

   Open Dashboard → Visitors

   In the side menu, under Intelligence

   Pick a tab

   See who is online now, or everyone

   Open a visitor

   See their pages in order, their chats and the details they shared

What you can do with it

• Context for your team — See what a customer was looking at before they asked
• Learn what works — See which pages lead to chats
• Recognise returning visitors — A visitor who comes back is linked to their earlier visits

Good to know

• Browse Abandonment uses the same page visits to know who looked at a product and left
• Visitors appear only after the chat widget is on your website
