WordPress — official Botvee plugin

Install the official plugin and your agent is live in about two minutes. No code, no theme editing. On a WooCommerce store the same plugin also carries your products and orders to Botvee, which is what makes cart recovery, COD confirmation and stock alerts work.

Install and connect

  1. 1

    Download the plugin

    Dashboard → Integrations → WordPress

  2. 2

    Upload it

WordPress → Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin → Install Now

  3. 3

    Activate the plugin

  4. 4

Open Botvee in your WordPress sidebar and click Connect with Botvee

  5. 5

Sign in and pick the AI Agent this site should use

  6. 6

You land back in WordPress, connected

Connecting by token instead

If the popup is blocked or your site cannot reach Botvee, the same screen accepts a token. Copy the Auth Token from Dashboard → Integrations → WordPress, paste it into the plugin, and pick your agent from the list that appears.

Important

That token links your site to your workspace — treat it like a password, and never paste it into a public page or support ticket.

What the plugin sends to Botvee

DataWhen
Products and variations — price, stock, images, categoriesOn catalog sync, and instantly whenever you add, edit, publish or delete a product
Pages and postsOn catalog sync, for the Knowledge Base
OrdersThe moment an order is created, and again on every status change
Live stock levelsOn request, when Botvee is deciding whether a “back in stock” message is actually true
Browsing and cart activityOnly while the Commerce events switches are on

Note

Attribution is stamped on an order when the shopper spoke to the agent before buying, which is how Recovery reports what the agent actually earned.

What WooCommerce unlocks

  • Product answers — price, stock and variants from your live catalogue
  • Order status questions answered in chat
  • Abandoned cart recovery and browse abandonment
  • COD confirmation to cut RTO
  • Back-in-stock alerts, checked against real stock before anything is sent
  • Order notifications — one to you, one to the customer
  • Post-delivery follow-ups and review requests

Note

These messages go out on WhatsApp, so the same agent needs WhatsApp connected. Anyone outside the 24-hour window is reached with an approved template — see WhatsApp Templates.

One site, one agent

A site connects to exactly one AI Agent, and an agent answers for exactly one site. Connecting this site to a different agent closes the old connection and moves the synced catalogue across, so two stores never share one agent's product list. The rule spans platforms — connecting a Shopify store to the same agent retires the WordPress connection.

Troubleshooting

What you seeWhat to check
Widget missingConfirm the plugin is Activated, and that the Widget switch is on
Token rejectedCopy the whole string again with no spaces, and check your site can reach api.botvee.ai
Widget still missing after connectingClear your caching plugin and your CDN cache
“Could not accept the products”A large catalogue on a slow host can time out — run Sync catalog again; products already sent are not re-sent
Orders not reaching BotveeCheck the connection on the plugin Dashboard, and that WooCommerce order emails are working, which usually means order hooks are firing
Nothing at all from a security pluginAllow POST requests to api.botvee.ai and allow the botvee/v1 REST routes
