The Botvee AI Agent plugin puts the chat on your WordPress site without code. You install it from your WordPress admin, sign in to Botvee from inside the plugin, and pick the AI agent that should answer. On a WooCommerce store it also sends your products and orders to Botvee, so the agent can answer price, stock and order questions, and features like COD Confirmation and Order Details can work.

Before you start

• Admin access to your WordPress site — You need to be able to install plugins
• WordPress 5.8 or newer and PHP 8.0 or newer — Most hosts meet this; your host can tell you
• An AI agent in Botvee — Create one in Dashboard → My AI Agents first
• WooCommerce — Only if you want product, stock and order features

How to set it up

   Open the window

   Go to Dashboard → Integrations → WordPress and click “Connect”. A window titled “Connect WordPress” opens

   Type your site address

   For example yourstore.com, in the “Your WordPress site address” box

   Click “Open in WordPress”

   Your WordPress admin opens in a new tab on the plugin search, already showing “Botvee AI Agent”. Sign in to your admin if it asks

   Install and activate

   Click Install Now, then Activate. A Botvee item appears in your WordPress side menu

   Connect with Botvee

   Open the plugin and click “Connect with Botvee”. A secure window opens; sign in to your Botvee account there. There is nothing to copy or paste

   Choose the AI agent

   Pick the agent for this site from “Available AI Agents” and confirm with “Yes, connect”. The plugin shows “Your AI Agent is now live on your site.”

   Choose where it shows

   Open the display rules and pick “Every page”, “Only selected pages” or “All except selected”. You can also hide it on checkout and account pages, and set its position on screen

   Open your site

   Visit a page in a private window. The chat button appears in the corner you chose

Can’t open WordPress from the button? Click “Download the plugin manually instead”. Then in WordPress go to Plugins → Add New, click Upload Plugin, choose the file, click Install Now and then Activate Plugin. Continue from “Connect with Botvee” above.

What happens next

• The chat widget shows on the pages your display rules allow
• On WooCommerce, your products are sent to Botvee and kept up to date when you add, change or remove them. The plugin shows how many products are on Botvee, and “Sync now” sends them again
• New orders and order updates are sent as they happen, so the agent can answer “where is my order?” and COD Confirmation and Order Details can work
• Your pages and posts are learned when you add your website in the Knowledge Base and train the agent

What you can do with it

• Answer visitors — From your pages, posts and policies, in the visitor’s language
• Answer product questions — Live price, stock and variant lookups from your WooCommerce catalogue, with products that fit what the customer asked for
• Suggest more — With “AI Upsell & Cross-sell Engine” on in Agent Settings, the agent sees the cart and suggests items that go with it
• Track orders in the chat — Customers ask where their order is and get the live status
• Confirm COD orders and send order alerts — See COD Confirmation and Order Details
• Win back shoppers — Switch on “Browse abandonment” and “Cart recovery” under “Send shopper activity to Botvee” in the plugin. Both are off until you switch them on
• Back-in-stock alerts — A “Notify me” box on sold-out products. See Stock Alerts

Good to know

• The plugin is included in every plan
• One site connects to one AI agent. You can change the agent from the plugin at any time
• Browse and cart activity is sent only for shoppers who have already given an email or phone number, because that is how the follow-up reaches them
• Stock alerts read live stock whether or not the activity switches are on
• Order alerts and COD confirmation on WhatsApp need WhatsApp connected to the same agent
• Manage or disconnect from the Connected page (Dashboard → Integrations → Manage) or from the plugin. Disconnecting removes the chat from your site; your chats and leads stay in Botvee
